I haven't touched Portal 2's Authoring Tools in a long time. It's almost done, but I'm really not impressed with a certain portion of the room that is extraordinarily boring to solve. Likewise, I haven't had the time and/or motivation to go and create something new for that area while still keeping it fresh and interesting/entertaining.

So, if I ever do get back to it, it won't be for a while.

No problem, I'm glad it worked out for you.

As for the friend request, I'm sorry but I won't accept it. It's nothing against you or anything, I just don't accept friend requests from people anymore. (I have my reasons and would rather not go into it) Besides, I'm not overly interested in map making at the moment, it's one of those things I want to get back to doing someday, but overall have no motivation to do so right now.

If you ever need any help again though, feel free to leave a comment here and I'll if I can sort things out.

You cannot properly place an instance into a map that hasn't already been saved. Basically, make a .bsp file, save it, close it, then start adding your instances to the map.

and final question. I cant make instances. I can make entity, but after instance choose nothing happens. I tried restart Hammer, and put map into portal 2 folder but... :( Can you help me? Do you know how to fix it? Is it because portal 2 installed not on the main disk? I cant find out how to fix it on valve developer page.

It's a Portal 1 tutorial, but everything remains the exact same for Portal 2, minus the P1 egg shaped bed if you want to use the standard bed model. I learn most, if not all, of everything I do on this site. It has a lot of useful tutorials and what not, even in the Portal 1 section of it since a lot of the same things can be used in Portal 2. :p2orange:
