Kentucky Route Zero is not a game, per se. What it is, is a narrative experiment that I think deserves a look. You can get through in a few hours. There are no game overs, no traps, no antagonists, just a group of weirdos finding one another en route to a mysterious address with a truckload of antiques.

If you like media that plays with narrative structure, this is worth a thought. Don't rush, just enjoy the ride along the Zero.

Whether or not you played the original Crash Bandicoot games, if you like solid, simple 3D platforming with a satisfying difficulty curve, this is for you

There's a decent little game here, but what I like it best for is this; grab it because it's free, play it, then if you like it, buy Broforce, which is the better game. I like to think of this as a Broforce demo more than anything, just with a self contained story.
