I'm not a stranger to cheaters, but less than 5 hours, in my 2nd real people raid, and I run into someone shooting through a brick building. No thanks.

I am pretty new to MH series. I played Worlds for a few hours, but got lost. This game did a better job helping you out and getting you on the right track. So, keep that in mind if you bother reading this review.

I enjoy the game overall, I enjoy grind type games, so no real surprise there. If you are looking to get into the series, and have the hardware I recommend it. Pretty demanding game, which I think is due to optimization. 3800x, 3060ti. Getting 60 fps is pretty tough at 1440p. That is with upscaling, and pretty much all settings on low.

Story is ok, but the gameplay itself is pretty addicting. Fight big monsters to get better gear, to fight bigger and badder monsters. Basically grinding boss fights. I am not "good" by any means, but I am getting better, and can see it. I feel like it guides you enough to get you going, but leaves enough for you to figure out, that when you do, your're like OHHH, and the addiction digs itself deeper.

It's a fun game, that does need some work here and there, but I have had no crashes, or super weird bugs.
