This is both my personal best game of 2019 and one of the best games I've ever played.
I got the game on the Epic Games Store and finished it, then bought it again on Steam just to give the devs some more money and to write this review.

I will keep this brief, because much like a quantum particle, going into details about this game will only ruin that precious state of unknown that is the best part of the experience.

This game is a discovery/puzzle experience, which will see the player bouncing around the solar system in search for clues about the various condition of the planets, the ancient race of aliens known as the Nomai, and their mad search for the Eye of the Universe.

The game does such a great job at introducing it's mechanics and story, you never once feel "stuck" or clueless on what to do, and there's always a lead to follow and explore.
Not once in my playtime did I ever think "I need an item I don't have" or "I'm too dumb for this puzzle", it was always "I need to learn more about this".

Everything from world design, to puzzles, to themes and music is coherent and excecuted perfectly.
And if you stick with this game to the end, you'll be rewarded with an ending so good, it's earned it's place among my personal favorites of all time.

I hope you trust the number of positive reviews this game has and you give it a shot. This is truly an unmissable experience, both from a storytelling and technical standpoint.

Another chance to revisit one of my favorite games of all time, now with added spooks!

The DLC is solid and the quality is on par with the main game, if you liked Outer Wilds this extra is a must have.
