super fun

great game but in heavy need of IP Bans since it's free or a lock of all activities for folk that don't own all expansions

dunno but have all the year passes but only have the dlc from year pass 3 could be that it's due to me not having started the game via steam for a while but i thought i might as well let others know before they buy it :D

real great lost of fun still has issuse most of all with defence and combat which tbh just sucks hardcore its rather uncool as an example i reached 200 grown up pop raiders came sadly the raiders split into 2 groups a group of 1 and a group of about 30 my 200 pops all rans to defend against the 1 guy on the otherside of the city it then takes immense time for my pops to reach the other raiders and they just get slaugtherd in singlefile i went from 200 pops with bronzeswords shields and bows down to 50 and was able to watch as everything disolved itself

atm to much rush no strat has a chance rush 1 enemy throw him out of the game and voila you win early mid and end game there's no chance to come back once an ally is gone also good amount of cheats available atm which ends with people teleporting their armies into your base people exceding the pop cap cheating resources even had a guy in the WW2 age whilst all others were still stone age aka 5 minutes into the game and so on atm this game has many issues most are even caused via the community oh and if you thought LoL had a toxic community it's childs play compared to this community atm alli can say is don't get it if you aren't okay with seeing silly things happen only thing going for it is the nostalgia as it is similar to empire earth and it's free but due to scaling and balancing issues it can be rather painful

tried coming back to it again and again but after building a house for 5 hours then having a rnd ravager group 6+ spawn next to that house making them attack it die trying to defend it respawn at all easy respawns there were several ravagers so insta dead again and again and once i managed to get back to my house 3 hours+ only 1 stone foundation of 25 was left all ravangers still attacking it and tbh i tried several servers always ended up the same and i know some people enjoy hurting themselves but i only have a limited amount of time in a day and dieing respawning dieing with zero to no chance of changing it gets me frustrated probably also the reason i wrote this comment but damn its always been the same problems for me spawn location level cap for dinos in certain locations spawning regions for more powwerful dinos cause i hate seeing a lvl 120 spino 5 meters from serverspawns and so on

there are far bettter games out there than this one and its sad cause its actually fun

political system is a joke srsly it's bad seeing as no matter how happy your people are or your factions or the chars you have a % chance of getting a civil war and with limited armies it can become an extrem problem as an example i was conquering chimmeria as egypt i had carefully picked all my generals and when a new faction poped i cycled out all generals not belonging to the main 2 factions i was keeping alive i then purged the faction and ended my turn

next turn several of my new provinces deflect no biggy as their close to where i'm conquering but it also rndly turns all my guard armies (best generals, best equipped, best troops, none belonged to that faction i've made sure several times) all in my central income hubs in Marocco and carthage why does this happen??? it's rather frusting and has happend in most campaigns when i hit a certain mark all is stable next turn all goes to ♥♥♥♥

otherwise the game is fun great big battles nice detail unit types are repetative but not like in other games units look different (clothing hair skin etc) played most of the dlcs their fun to but the political system is what stops me from playing again and again

great game pvp and loot wise also in rewards for time spent it's great but damn i cannot handle the close quarter hand combat it's just bs tbh and for a game where there is a necesity for melee it seems very lacking i'd very much enjoy seeing a simpler melee system implemented giving one a better chance :D but please in the name of god change your melee
