I've only played for a few hours and honestly I can see a lot of potential in the game. However' theses a bunch of silly bugs and issues that are impacting the enjoyment and I could not really recommend this game at the current price point.

I may update this review and change my rating as I get more hours into the game but here are the issues I've noticed so far.

1. Screen Resolution - 5120 x 1440 is my native screen resolution and the game has an option for this. However text on the screen and elements of the UI overlap each other. Most noticed in the top left and bottom right corners. Why ? if the resolution selected matches the monitor this makes no sense.
2. Weapon descriptions and stats - A number of the weapons have the exact same stats and description of the pre-upgraded version. The picture changes but nothing else. An example of this is the KC-20A & KC-20B turrets. Its not clear what changes for the research cost of the upgrade? There's other weapons like this also.
3. Audio - The audio is buggy, for example the sound of my missiles launching will randomly stop mid way through a mission. The music is on a loop and when the loop restarts it seems to sometimes trigger audio issues like the one I just described.
4. Key Binds - I change my key binds but they do not save. Every few missions the binds reset to default, I have no idea why.


Beyond these annoyances the games pretty fun.

I rarely enjoy these card based games but I picked this up for the rougelike elements. It turns out this games great, tons of re-play value, good balanced characters, lots of enemy and boss types and a good reward system.

The daily challenge is fun.

The Multiplayer coop mode is great, at first it feels very hard as the enemies are scaled up dramatically compared to the single player mode but if you keep at it eventually you will win and it feels great!

Constant Desync errors [TRAJAN-58071-01]

The co-op / Multiplayer is unplayable for me and my group of friends. We all have the same game version and constantly get hit with this error.

How is the year 2026 and multiplayer connection is not just a simple thing for these games ........ I feel like Im back in the 2000s having to forward ports and find workarounds.

Refunded. I might give this another shot in the future once multiplayer is stable.

I really crave a good E-sports team manager and sadly this is not it. I have every E-sports manager game on my wishlist and buy them on release and this one is probably the worst I've seen for a long time.

There are Esports manager games YEARS older than this that are FAR better.

This one has no visuals at all, no little graphics moving around a MOBA match, no real details on which champs your players are good/bad with. The ban/pick phase is just a mess, you might as well just click whoever you want to ban/pick without much thought around counters or synergies.

The Hero and team logo avatar options look like some free asset downloads from some old Baulders Gate game from the 90s.

The actual match is just a few text prompts which appear and then a Win/Lose outcome.

Honestly I know it sounds like I'm being harsh but the game is just really really bad.

Sorry I wish that wasn't the case.

This game is an absolute masterpiece.

I am probably the least patient gamer in the world. The type who skips all the text in MMOs and spam hits the enter key when cutscenes appear.

That said ... this game had me hooked, invested in the characters and thoroughly enjoyed watching every part of the story unfold.

The game has a lot of re-play value, artwork is top tier, voice acting is great and the adult themed humour makes the game genuinally funny at places.

10/10 I'm missing it already.

I'm hooked on the grind to unlock new characters. Each character has its own unique units and playstyle and it allows for a whole range of fun strategies. Love it.

Multiplayer doesn't work.
"Steam sign-in failed, authentication error"

Just purchased this game about 30 minutes ago. Skrimish mode feels good, it looks really fun but there are 2 big issues.

1. No lobbies at all for multiplayer. Ranked or un-ranked. I'm not sure if its because im connecting from the UK or something but 0 lobbies ....... the multiplayer is unplayable.

2. Not being able to scroll with WASD by default is crazy. Who uses the arrow keys to scroll on an RTS? Sure you can re-bind the keys to WASD but that comes with its own problems, you have to go and remove the duplicate hotkeys and then you still face issues when hero spells end up bound to the D key for example.

Dissapointing. Please fix the multiplayer lobbies situation and consider the pain of making me arrow key scroll lol

Don't buy this if you are using an ultra-widescreen monitor. Dispute having 5120x1440 as an option in the settings the game does not actually scale to this correctly. On the map screen its a little frustrating having to right click and drag rotate the map to read the info on the boxes on screen but its manageable.

The problem is after the battle. The victory/defeat message does not scale so you can't see the bottom of the message, therefore you cant click to proceed or whatever the prompt is.

Enter / Escape does not help either.

Unplayable for me unless I want to run it in windowed mode or downscale the size, both of which I do not wish to do.

TL:DR - This game is actually very fun but its missing features that are just the base line minimum of an RTS game. Specifically around the Skirmish mode. If you like to play PVE this game is really not going to be worth the money for you. I would suggest only buying this if you want to play 5v5 PVP battles. If you want to battle AI then forget about it because the skirmish mode is lacking and the single player story is just Meh.

If they flesh out the skirmish mode to allow AI players to be teamed with human players, add some map info/previews and other skirmish modes then I will update my review because other than it missing these very important RTS features the rest of the game is actually very fun.

Simply not worth its current price without those features though.

- Special effects
- Aircraft / Helicopters , the way they move & shoot is awesome
- Resupply system is good

BAD
- Skirmish mode blocking you from having AI team mates (Why?)
- Skirmish / Multiplayer - No map preview at all, you have a bunch of maps to pick but are told nothing about them (Spawn locations , size etc)
- Only 1 game-mode on multiplayer (Capture the points)
