After all this time of playing, you will either love or hate this game, all at the same time. The game does not have an Active MMR system, so half of the time, you're matched with sweat lords that don't touch grass at all, and piss in their Gatorade bottles. Half the time you'll go against brand new players that don't know the game mechanics whatsoever. The game is held together by spaghetti; and even as I'm writing this, half the time the Dead by Daylight servers just give you latency issues, when you're literally the one closest to the server. When you try to claim the Tome shards, it doesn't claim them because the game believes you've maxed the tome; when in reality, you're only on tier 5. Another stupid factor, is majority of the time, the map tiles are either really broken, or they favour the survivors. When the game is already one sided as it is.

If you do have a genuine interest for the game, play it and find out for yourself. If you're not sure, then stick to watching sweaty af streams like JRM. I'm gonna say "Not recommend" because I hate myself, and still play this broken mess. It's pretty much the same as watered down heroin. Not as bad as Factorio, but enough to keep you hooked on the game.
