*UPDATE* Day 2 without being able to play

Pros:
- The graphics are better (self explanatory as it's a decade later than PD2)
- The sound effects are better (self explanatory as it's a decade later than PD2)

Cons:
- Everything else. GAME IS BROKEN.
- Match Making is broken. I have waited for the last 30 minutes to get into a single, public match. No success.
- No offline or true single player mode.
- Always online required.
- The gameplay feels very clunky and arcade-y compared to the fast paced, hard hitting, PD2.
- There are VERY FEW weapons compared to PD2.
- The skill tree feels useless and the number of skills and perks is not even 1/4 of what PD2 offered.
- There is no "CrimeNet" and you have to pick your heist using the horrible UI.
- There are only 8 heists, all of which feel almost identical compared to the 50+ different heists in PD2.
- There are very few weapons mods, and the mods you can get are almost pointless, compared to the 100+ mods in PD2.
- There is very little character customization compared to PD2.
- There are less characters to choose from than PD2.
- The AI animations look more realistic, but the AI itself seems very basic and generic.
- Interacting, spotting, marking items is less intuitive than it was in PD2.

Overall: This game was not ready for release. MANY.. MANY of the things that were updated/fixed/changed to make PD2 the amazing game that it was, never made it into this game. This is NOT a sequel to PD2. I will be returning to PD2 until a major, major overhaul is completed on this game.

Considering where the game currently is in it's development, this game is fantastic. A first person shooter that actually, and I mean ACTUALLY requires team work and planning to win. If you like fast past, guns blazing shooters- this is not the game for you. If you like good teamwork, COOP, challenging missions and objectives and realism- this is the game for you. **NOTE** In the current version of the game, it IS an unfinished product. There are missions missing, levels that aren't finished, bugs, glitches, and just some general missing content, but that's why it's an early access game. If you are looking for a well polished game, this is not the game for you, yet. Wait until it's official release, and you'll have a fantastic time with the game then. Highly Recommend 9/10- even in it's early release state.

I've had a lot of fun playing this game. It is definitely an XCOM game, and by that I mean very difficult- but you learn to like it. But at the same time it has a lot of issues that I hoped are going to be fixed via patches.

Pros:
-Unforgiving game play
-Customization
-Lots of CUSTOMIZATION
-Graphics are a nice upgrade from XCOM enemy unkown (But still not the best out there)
-Awesome story and campagin
-Lots of nice, and important side quests
-Replay-ability
-Did I mention it is difficult
-Combat is awesome when it works correctly

Cons:
-Bugs and Performance Issues:
=Often times you and the enemy can shoot through entire buildings with +80% accuracy which makes no sense.
=Animations are bugged about 1/3 of the time. (E.G. Character is pointing the entire opposite direction that they are actually firing; Sometimes animations don't play at all, damage just randomly appears along with the animation sound FX)
=Game crashes from time to time
=Noticable framerate drop as you unlock/customize/progress further in the game.
=I've had objectives glitch where they were not able to be picked up or carried thus the mission could not be completed without reloading and trying again

Good game, but get it during a sale. Its not quite worth the full asking price at this stage. Still has some bugs to be worked out and is still to simple/repetative in my opinion. But, with some polishing and a few tweaks here and there it will be a good one to have in your steam library. 7.5/10
