After playing the game for 3 days straight, playing the first game 3 times to completion. Blasphemous 2 is an pretty step up.
While there are a few hitches with the game like sometimes getting stuck in the lunge animation after a parry from Sarmiento and Centella, weird sprites lingering on the screen, and the occasional ♥♥♥♥ block of getting stuck in a corner with no way of getting out. this game has the same charm as Blasphemous 1. I hope the game get some of the same treatment that one got in the future but as it stands, this is a excellent buy if you want to calm that metroid-vania itch.
