Don't get me wrong, the base game is absolutely phenomenal. But in my opinion, I dare say this even outdid the base game. Everything about it, I had wonderful performance on high graphics. The story was phenomenal. I had little-to-no visual bugs or gameplay bugs. All of the weaponry they added is extremely fun. The soundtrack gave me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ goosebumps This has to have been the best DLC I've ever played.

Keep it up NEOWIZ, you have captured the true essence of a soulsborne game.

If I had to describe this game with a single word.
It would have to be "invigorating". The combat it immensely brutal despite having minimal blood.
It's very hard, but SUPER satisfying. I highly recommend it, even if you have to play on the easiest difficulty. Even then it still provides enough of a challenge to feel rewarding.
I highly recommend picking this up if it's on sale. As 40 USD is a bit pricey for it.

had to download a fix from nexus mods in order for it to run, but asides that, absolute blast of a game

Edit: Just finished this, and started playing Prototype 2 back to back. Gotta say, I love this one WAY more despite the way clunkier combat and just less polished mechanics.

Prototype 1, despite completely being a pure action game, still retains some horror-themed elements that give it its wonderful charm. Prototype 2 just simply does not retain any of these elements. It feels wayyy too comic-ish and cartoony. Maybe I just need to get into the meat of 2, I dunno. it just doesn't feel like a Prototype game.

Absolutely stunning game. Makes my heart melt. <3
The only thing that I do think it's missing is more integrated controller support. Otherwise this game would be wonderful for the Steam Deck.
