While I can not approve of Mr. Murray's marketing and Hello Games' allowance to let his lies pre-sales continue, They have surprised me as a consumer. I have been upset at gaming in recent years, since around 2010 i believe was when i started to notice a trend with games being over hyped and features being lied about. Then as years have gone on its gotten worse. In spite of all that they have taken this absolute train wreck of a game i was sure they would sell and run off with the money, and turned it into something great. Many of my friends have told me they would never forgive Hello Games, I was of the same opinion not too long ago, But i decided to give them a chance after they appeared to be really trying to make things right. And they have in a lot of ways. Free dlc, constant updates, bug fixes, and even recently a rework to stations. While the game may not grip me in ways Tf2 has with my 14k hours over both my accounts. My 57 hours in No Man's Sky has actually been nothing but pleasant fun. Its not gonna knock my socks off with action, or blow me away with amazing space battles like i saw in the trailers. I have grown to see the game as a chill relaxing evening, Go check on my settlement, deal with the same guy complaining about his ownership of an item for the 30th time while chuckling. (I call him Charles at this point) going and getting some more fuel for my weekend space time with some friends preped, admiring my collection of ships ive acquired, and just vibing overall. Hello Games hasn't made up for what they did in my opinion, they have surpassed it and are still going. Out of every dev team that has screwed me over, not one of them has ever put in actual effort to make things right besides Hello Games. Thank you. Just please don't pull the false advertisement stunt again or my friends will never let me live it down after i defended you guys.
