Recent updates have completely ruined gameplay.

Very grindy, banking system makes it worse. Profitable areas are essentially impossible to reach. Would not recommend.

Considerably less content than Payday 2.

Matchmaking doesn't distinguish between stealth and loud.

No server browser, literally just pick a mission and it goes into matchmaking.

Overall, it seems like it's going to be a complete grind-fest and is half the game that Payday 2 was. Although there are some new mechanics, this feels more like a payday 2 expansion than a standalone game.

To top it all off, Matchmaking, which is required to even play solo, has been pretty much down for the past four days.

Since the game has moved to free-to-play, I've noticed a large increase in the general toxicity as well as hacking(lots more overwatch opportunities). Until the community becomes more heavily moderated, I would suggest not letting children play unless you are okay with them hearing racial or homophobic slurs on a daily basis. Even if a user does get banned, they are free to create a new account, this will be a tough problem to solve until IP banning comes into greater use.

Terrible matchmaking. The game is beautiful and most of the mechanics are okay, but the amount of level 100+ players really ruin the experience considering I’m level 17 at the time of this review.
