I should have understood that it was getting to you back when you described that car wreck but it was just too much too soon after my own freeway wreck. Maybe that's why you didn't go to someone... I don't know. I'll never know. That's the problem with internet friendships... Left with so many mysteries I can't stop thinking about. All I know it's that you were a good kid rein, and what happened to you was a travesty. I'm not a religious man, but I really hope you're in a better place now

I guess I was telling myself this was all some sort of sick joke until today when I saw your obituary. I'm still baffled man. At everything. It was really hard to tell when you were telling the truth and when you were lying most of the time. I mean I consider myself a pretty trusting person and even I had a hard time believing you about things after your repeated antics. From what I could tell though, you really had it all. Smart, rich, motivated at a time in your life when almost all of us have absolutely no direction... You could have done some amazing things. It's really sad that this is how our society is, but I wish you had never become a paramedic. It's ♥♥♥♥ hours, ♥♥♥♥ pay, and ♥♥♥♥ stress, period. They should be heroes but they're treated like they're janitors for corpses.

I was fully ready for a slew of 4/20 jokes. I want to hear your squeaky voicemail box message, but I'm too afraid your mom will answer. I'm afraid to go tomorrow. I'm afraid to say goodbye. And I'm not ready. I'm afraid that I'm going to forget what you sound like. I'll never be annoyed by you again. You'll never text me 50 times in the span of one minute or needle me about anything. I'm sorry if you felt like you were losing us in the move. I wish I would have told you every day how important you are in my life and how much we love you. I couldn't be open with you about my life because you're so young. Maybe that was a mistake. You weren't done yet. Your life was just starting. You were loyal and hilarious and so caring and blunt and sharp as a tack but now you're gone.
