Toby Fox back at it again with another banger, but at least Chapter 5 is only a year away rather than 4 (hopefully).

Generally speaking, this game cycles between "Utter peak" and "it's so over". The new illuminate and city biomes are great, but the Illuminate post-Super Earth invasion are terrible. 3 mission types and certain city-designed enemies now have full map-wide vision. It's not fun to get killed in one or two hits from across the map, but it is fun to fight in the city. Overall, great with friends, less great solo, but still fine if you're competent and with competent divers.

Honestly, not much to say outside the obvious that everyone else says. It's another FromSoft masterpiece and the revival of a franchise that was loved by those who played it. I was too young to enjoy the Armored Core franchise when it came out, so I'm glad I finally get to see a modern take on a solid genre.

In my opinion, one of the best games of all time. It's a spiritual successor to one of the most influential series of all times and stands at one of the peaks of game development.

Overall great game. Most of the complaints follow something like grind or balance, but any game tends to have those on new releases. The other things matter too though, sound, feel, gameplay cycle. These are what I find fun.

It's a rather fun game. The grind can be exasperating sometimes, but when you have friends, the game progresses quickly and is quite fun.
