I don't like beat 'em ups at all and yet somehow this game is one of my favorite games of all time despite that. I even bought it again on PC just so I could play mr. x nightmare while waiting for it to come to switch.

very solid game, well worth the money

jesus christ i died 20 times in the first level on what i assume is normal mode this game makes me play like im playing a horror game on the hardest difficulty

I heavily relate to early game kiryu only being able to run for like 4 seconds before needing to catch his breath, great game.

lets think about this logically for a second, no objective opinions about the gameplay just raw facts.

the pre-order bonus for this game was Doom 64, you got a whole second game for pre-ordering it. that's a pretty good deal, a whole extra game for no extra cost but no, no that's not all there is to it. Upon purchase of Doom Eternal you also unknowingly get Doom 1 and Doom 2 as well (Doom 1 can be unlocked by finding cheat codes and Doom 2 can be unlocked by entering a password into the computer) which means that if you pre-ordered Doom Eternal you got: Doom Eternal, Doom 64, Doom 1, and Doom 2. that is an exceptionally good deal.

you can wave dash up to galactus (a world eating immortal monster) as phoenix wright (a lawyer) and get his closest companion (a little girl) to flail her arms wildly until he decides eating earth isn't worth it.. afterwards you defend the world eating immortal monster in court.
