It's a gorgeous liminal space simulation of the poolrooms but in my honest opinion it's mainly just that. I feel like there's a large lacking of things to do outside of walking which is to be expected but for 10$ there's not much to be expected really. It does what it says it does well enough and looks good while doing so. Some of the controls feel a bit weird to use, ladders and slides for instance feel strange, especially when sliding and your mouse can't keep up with the view.

I also feel like the replay value of the game is lost with this style and doesn't allow me to feel like there's a reason to go through it again once completed as it feels like everything there is to explore has been explored.

It's good, but ultimately a play once and forget about it kinda game.

Fantastic rendition of a backrooms game, not usually one to fall to jumpscares but the horrors of the levels were truly horrifying and even after getting used to the mechanics of the game I found myself challenged in new ways showing me that getting cocky around the backrooms entities ends up in finding out just how terrifying they are. Mechanics never felt like they got stale and i'm extremely excited to see what comes in the next update from Fancy themself.

Solid graphical remaster of an old classic, haven't run into any issues yet like i've seen posted before.
