Lvl 8 with a 1.2 KD and 18 avg? Yeah, that’s decent but nothing crazy. Probably farms lower levels but struggles against higher elo players. If he’s stuck, it’s either bad decision-making, poor positioning, or inconsistent impact beyond just fragging.

If he wants to break into lvl 10, he needs to:

Improve utility usage (flashes, nades, post-plant setups)
Work on game sense (crosshair placement, trading, avoiding unnecessary duels)
Grind smarter, not just more—review demos, fix mistakes
Right now, he’s not bad, but not special either—just another lvl 8 grinding to prove he’s more than an average Faceit player.
