Very fun game, it kept me entertained and if you enjoy really exploring every direction you come across then this is your type of game, you've got various collectibles hidden throughout the map that give actual benefits i.e. more HP/stamina or the ability to purchase upgrades, and sometimes you will have to get an upgrade and come back to the start to get a collectible so if your into that kind of stuff then youll like this game as much as i did, not to mention scanning everying into your kindex

This is the first game i have ever played in VR fully (i've quickly jumped in a few others just to check them out) and i did 2 straight hours though if your better than me you might complete it sooner and im just talking about the main game, there are challenges you can complete after that i havent done yet and i have to say, its amazing.

I love this game and will for sure be doing the challenges, it is tons of fun and a little fraustrating sometimes but what game isn't!

Highly recommend for new players to gain the experience in VR, although 2 hours straight for my first sitting as indeed made my back a bit saw, this game is a surprising workout and i didn't even realise because i was having too much fun.

Shooting, Stabbing, breaking objects over their heads, and dodging bullets if you like that stuff then you will like this game.

I bought the Supreme Commander Gold Edition, which includes Supreme Commander 1 and Supreme Commander: Forge Alliance, after watching some gameplay commentary it looked amazing and i was excited to play it but the game WILL NOT LAUNCH.

I have followed perhaps 6 guides to fix this issue all of which failed to work. Upon launching from steam it goes to a black screen and will then minimize to taskbar, after trying to maximize it i only get a black screen again and it minimizes yet again.

I have tried running in various compatability modes, ran it as administrator, installed on a different drive, verified integrity of game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled twice and ive come to the conclusion the game isn't worth this trouble, the FAF team must not be active enough anymore.

For a game that came out in 2011 it was perhaps foolish of me to think it could work on my brand new latest tech, high end machine, i have requested the refund.

I played both 1 and 2 on console and they were some of my most favourite games ever and i can very happily say..... This is absolutely just as good as the original console version!

Man this brought back memories, its a nice polished game, most remakes are sort of 'alright' you know, they are nice to play but nothing special, this one just has the exact same feel of human slaughter i got playing the original, and i had tons of fun!

The only thing i can think to mention is that some of the DNA probe collectibles took me a while to find, in the end i just watched a youtube video with all their locations and went through it one by one, it would be nice to have some kind of probe detector i.e. if you are close a device starts to beep faster and faster, just something to hint in you are in the general vicinity but apart from that this game is perfection and i highly recommend it!


TL;DR - I have 100% completed this game and my verdict is - Buy it

Very fun game, highly recommend.
The story is great, the destructable environment is fun and can make things interesting if you build on top of buildings and they get destroyed.
The ability to set up like a tower defence game linking each tower with fences and getting the enemies to run around the map, creating your own choke points if none exist and then to fight the enemy yourself with your various weapons you can get depending on how you chose to upgrade your ship.

I would love to see more games of this style, this is similar to the game Sanctum which i enjoyed but these guys did way better in my opinion.

I have played through the campaign twice now, its a lot of fun, some things can be quite challenging, and i found myself confused at some puzzles that really made me think.
The most fun thing about this game in my opinion is the stealth components. You can get silencers for the pistols and rifles, you can upgrade your arrows to shoot up to 3 at once and take out multiple enemies at once and that can be so satisfying!

Fully recommend it!

Had a lot of fun with this game! It has a sort of Gears of War vibe which i thought was awesome combined with the leash and skillshot combos you can do i just found it to be quite a unique game, while it is obviously inspired by gears of war visually IMO, it is its own game.
The 1 and ONLY issue with this game.... near the end there is a dramatic speech 'you' give to save your life, i remember because i played the original and not this remastered version and for SOME ANNOYING REASON all the audio AND subtitles for the cut scene/cinematic was gone, it was just you waving your hands around in a serious manner, not even your mouth is moving so i found that to be a little vexxing at such a peak in the storyline.

Other than that one incident this game was amazing and i for sure recommend it!

Very addicting, only reason i'm not playing anymore is because the Beta for the new Dungeon Defenders came out and now i'm addicted to that one!

Played this yesterday, got hooked and played it all the way through in one sitting, it only took me 8.6 hours but i didn't explore for the purpose of getting all the collectibles/gifts/flowers so this game was definitely too short in my opinion, i 100% recommend getting this game ON SALE however as it stands its lack of content isn't worth the £39.99.

Moving onto the actual gameplay, the storyline was fantastic, i loved every moment of it and it succesfully drew me in.
The graphics while good i found sometimes there was lighting issues caused by fire in enclosed areas (a specific example is walking up a spiral stair case with torches on the wall as the only source of light they made the sceen feel blurred/light flare though this could just have been me (all settings on ultra) and only happened a hand full of times.
