As a long-time Monster Hunter fan, playing since the days of the PSP, I can confidently say that Monster Hunter Wilds is another great entry in the series. While I personally prefer some of the previous titles like World, this is still a fantastic game. That's why I'm baffled by the wave of negative reviews, most of which seem to focus on performance. While I don't want to dismiss everyone's issues, my own experience has been perfectly fine, which leads me to believe that many of these problems might stem from user error.

On my PC, for example, I have the graphics set to maximum and haven't experienced any significant issues, which suggests that many problems could be related to individual hardware configurations.

While I believe there are some genuine concerns, I suspect a lot of the negative feedback is from players with older computers who expect the game to run simply because their other, less demanding games do.

Furthermore, many of the game's updates are optimized for the newest graphics drivers. I've talked to people in person who say the game runs terribly, but when I check, I find they haven't updated their drivers in over six months. For a modern title like this, staying current is essential for good performance.

CANT.... STOP PLAYING.... HELP ME!

Every year players ask developers to not make the game online only, especially if it has a single-player mode. And every year they make their online-only games and it always has server problems and they release their apology for the problem. you know... when you say you're sorry about something it means you won't do it again, SO STOP DOING IT.

Needless to say, I do not recommend the game at this time.

Edit: so I was going to revise my review and say that they seem to have fixed the disconnecting problem... but not only did it do it several times as I was playing the 3rd time it did it I deleted all of my items from my inventory.

I love this game, but the deck is stacked against you. (excuse the pun.) the fact that they make you pay for the new set is crazy, the game is already good, and now they are adding a pay to win gimmick... it's too bad... the game is already really good I bet lots of people are buying booster packs... what can you do, some companies just want to see the world burn.

The customer support for this game is the most inept group of people I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with, not only does it seem like every response they send to you is a pre-written message, but you really get the feeling they're not even reading your emails. I've had better customer service from Time Warner and I'm not even joking. If you like Puzzle Quest this game is ok but God help you if you purchase anything because you will not get any help from the customer service. after my third email to them and again it just seems like pre-written messages back that have nothing to do with what I'm asking, they tell me I will not be receiving any more support because they think I'm harassing them or something even though they're not helping me. I will definitely be uninstalling this game and this has made me seriously think twice about ever making purchases in a game ever again.

Just keeps getting better
