As most of you know, I've undergone a drastic change, and will gladly share the experience.

It was a hard thought decision of mine to undergo a surgery of such weight and importance. The main concern being 'IF' I do this, will I ever be the same? What if size is what makes me who I am? Wife, on the other hand, was in for it ever since I mentioned the idea. I do not understand why she would make her mind so quick, but most importantly, her decision hasn't changed even after my research showed 67% mortality rate among men taking the surgery.

After gathering opinions, comparing sizes (friends&coworkers&undisclosed individuals) and learning every step I have to take to make this happen, I've made a final appointment.

When they were doing pre-op on me, I asked a doctor for an explanation on how exactly the procedure would go. He said they treat the peni same as they treat a broken leg: an incision is made on a side, then penis bone is broken in several places, which helps the medical staff to reconstruct the penis, giving it further length (in some cases even girth). Of course, I already knew that through my research, but it was exciting to know which technique they used exactly.

The surgery took 17 hours. As I woke up, I just had to have a look at their work. It looked really clean, stapled together (with special sterile medical staples) a bit above the base. They did a huge job. But I couldn't be happy just yet. A month of recovery was still at large.

After a month, my wife and I could finally get some together time, and oh god. Even though the staplemarks didn't fully heal and it was bleeding through the whole process - it was messy, but worth it. Wife said it was actually the first time in our relationship that she was satisfied, and that it reminded her of lots of different times she 'had' in university (whatever that means). She's my angel, if she's happy - so am I.

It was a difficult process, but a worthwhile one non the less. I am fine, healthy, and thriving.
