Took me on and off entire year, but finally 100% one of my all time favorite NFS. I started playing this game first on Xbox 360, bought my first original copy of the game when EA still did DVD release for PC and then bought it again on Origin and Steam. My love for this goat game is ultimately complete now.

I still remember being a teenage and pressing Turbo for the first time and it completely blew me away because how badass i felt.

Honestly, what can i say that hasn't been said many times already, one of the best FPS to ever made that incorporated platforming so beautifully, most shooter games will have you duck and hide to regain the momentum and health, but this is the game where if you stop momentary, you are guaranteed to die instantaneously. You have so much at your disposal than ever before that juggling them all at once goes from feeling overwhelming to an absolute dance of bullets and mayhem.

-Its amazing that this game is a masterpiece and DooM 2016 was already perfect to even further peak that with this game is already quite an achievement in itself. These guys invented the genre back in the 90s and set the bar again with Eternal in modern gaming era. From absolute eye candy visuals, level designs and weapons sound effects and the rush in this game at higher difficulties had me hard like a rock.

I have always loved Rouge-like games for as long as i remember. The idea of having to defeat the final boss in a game with one perfect run has always excited me especially if its a good game backed by really eargasm music and satisfying as hell combat and Hades checks all the boxes.

-Probably, my favorite action packed rouge-like game right next to "Enter The Gungeon". Hades bring something new to the table literally, every run is a fresh new take despite you trying to complete the same objective which is escape from hell, enemies & A.Is behave differently and get more difficult as you progress more in the game and unlock bits and pieces of the story and your character abilities and power progression, trust me there are tons.

The best part is that as you could tell from the name is based on Greek mythology, so your character dying and respawning at the House of Hades makes perfectly sense in the world of lore as you are an immortal unkillable god who is son of Hades (badass af), along the way you meet so many different gods who help you and aid you in your run Poseidon, Zeus, Athena, Aphrodite etc you name it. Every god has a special and unique ability of their own Zeus provides powers related to thunder and lightening, Aphrodite for ocean and water based abilities and attacks, you get the gist, and talking to these gods will never feel monotone and boring like i said one of my favorite things about this game and unlike most of rogue-like, the game actually acknowledges your multiple run and story progression or how far you have reached previously and how many new bosses you have defeated or whether the fact that you have talked to other gods and taken and used their powers, you can tell all of that the way each NPCs and gods talk to you and behave.

Also, did i mention you could romance NPCs in this game? then again it wouldn't be greek mythology if there ain't romance and sex involved, well minus the sex part. Anyway back to the point, lets talk about the big baddie himself "Hades" who is pretty much hardcore desi Indian dad cranked up to 11 who would stop at nothing and unleash all the hell forces upon you just so that you can't escape hell (there's actually a reason behind, you gotta play to know it).

:I can wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a game to everyone, this just further continues the endless streak of releasing gems after gems from Supergiant games.

Well, what can i say about Halo series that hasn't been said a bajillion times already, so i thought for this review i would like to share a little bit about my past as for how i was introduced to the Halo Franchise but first of all, thank you so much 343 and microsoft. I am a huge Halo fan from India, I might come off as a hardcore fanboy, but i literally grew up playing Halo in a place where everyone hates video game because it comes in a way of your studies or if you get sick or have some behavior pattern problem it is all because of videogames. Your usual stereotypes where Parents basically blame everything on PC and videogames.

I was still only 6 years old, we used to have this very old PC with a Pentium CPU and no GPU, only dad was allowed to use it for accounting purpose and once in a blue moon when all planets are aligned together he would allow me to play games on his PC, and i loved playing House Of The Dead on it with my cousin, then one day i bought Halo from a local shop (Yes, it was a pirate because no one knew about internet and i didn't know where to even buy an original or will i even get one with my 5rs=0.075 US Dollar pocket money). Anyway, i instantly got hooked by looking at the cover, it looked like some futuristic astronaut guy and his crew (in the background) is trapped on a planet fighting bad guys.

So i started playing it after begging my dad to install it, but i wasn't impressed by the game at all because it was too complicated, i remember being stuck on the tutorial section where you have to aim at the yellow light, but my English was poor and i could only understand simple words so i could never understand what that guy was telling me to do, i was so frustrated and worried that my dad would beat my ass if he comes to know that i wasted my pocket money and his time and i couldn't even return the game (A little background, i was 6 years old and only played simple games like House of The Dead and midtown madness, nothing like Halo which felt like playing a complex simulator for my 6 year old brain)
Anyway, after many trails and error i finally manage to complete it. The reason i was stuck because half way through the aiming section the game automatically changes the aiming controls to inverted which was really a pain in the -Yoink-, after following the dude to meet captain keyes, i remembering being blown away by the graphics and the gameplay because it was something that i have never seen before, then it was just a smooth ride till the end of the game, the reason why i loved Halo so much, its mainly due to the soundtracks, it really felt like being in a movie and playing it. I absolutely loved the OSTs in the game, i remember playing warthog run again and again just to hear that soundtrack again.

After i was completely done playing Halo which took me about a year because i was only allowed to play it during holidays for an hour, i kept on hoping for a Sequel and to my shock it was almost 2 years later when i came to know about internet and everything that i realized from a local cafe that Halo 2 was already out in 2004 when i just started playing Halo 1, but it was only on Xbox. I got really depressed because i really really wanted to play Halo 2 no matter what, but no one sold Xbox here nor anyone knew what is even that neither we had amazon or ebay who would ship to India, so the only thing i could do like most of the Indians is go to temple and praying to release Halo 2 on PC too and to my surprise, Halo 2 did launch on PC in 2007 but only on windows vista, and i just recently upgraded my PC from 98 to windowsXP, so i was stuck again and didn't know where would i even get windows vista since it was still new in the market it would at least take months if not year for me get to my hand on a pirate copy of a windows vista, but to my luck Halo 2 with WindowXP patch was already out on the internet, but i didn't know how to or where to download. So, i asked the cafe guy and handed him over some 30rs and told him to download the game for me and he did and put in the blank CD i had with me with youtube tutorial in it. I went home after 2 hours, the game was finally running but lagging like hell, but just simply being able to play halo 2 finally after so many years was just more than enough.

And from here on, it was just downfall in my life. My family was going through some severe poverty and Halo 3 was also announced and already came on Xbox 360 yet again no news for PC, i started my usual ritual of going to the temple and asking from god to release Halo 3 on PC, but hours turned into days and days turned into years, but no sign of Halo 3 on sight except clickbait and fake articles who would kept on hinting Halo 3 PC port. During this time, consoles were getting a lot popular in India, many of my friends owned PS2 but none of them had Xbox.

-Then in 2010, i finally lost my patience and really wanted to buy Halo 3. I mean why wouldn't you? Halo 2 ended on such a high note and being able to endure that massive cliffhanger was enough to drove me insane during my teen years. I kept begging my parents again and again for a console, i even tried to study harder and get better marks that i never achieved before so that father could become proud and happy and buy me a xbox 360, but it was so freaking costly almost 20,000rs which is hella lot, i could have upgraded my PC in that price, but i knew Halo 3 was never gonna come on PC anymore because all sorts of news for Xbox 720 was popping up everywhere and it was already too late for Halo 3 to come on PC. I was sad and depressed and most of all hated Microsoft for not giving me Halo 3, i knew what microsoft was trying to do they released Halo 2 on PC with a cliffhanger ending so that people would buy their new console for Halo 3 just like how they released GoW 1 to test the waters and released later parts only on Xbox 360, but it was like blaming Sony for not releasing God Of War on PC. Anyway, i would always end up getting tears whenever i saw that tagline "Finish the fight" and i thought everyone finished their fight where everyone was leaving me behind alone. At one point, i got so desperate that i downloaded so many fake emulators from the cafe, hoping that one of them might run Halo 3 (Yes, i had already bought pirate dvd for Halo 3 even though i didn't have the console just to feel somewhat of a satisfaction from looking at the details from the back cover and pictures or that i at least own the game)

But i never blamed my parents, i know they also wanted me to get xbox, but they couldn't. So i decided to collect every little penny i could from lunch money, not wasting any on the snacks or the movies or in parties or in any outgoing, every little penny i could save would go towards the new console, then during 2011 when Halo 4 was announced my mother got really sick and i lost all the hope and motivation, i mean it didn't look good from a moral point of view that my mother is sick and here as an unfilial son who is collecting money for a game console. I gave whatever i saved to my father and did what i didn't want to do from many years was to watch all the cut-scenes on youtube of Halo 3 and i was chocking on my tears because of the ending.

P.S:- This is my love letter to the 343, Microsoft and BUNGIE for keeping Halo alive. I am sure i might not be the only person who wasn't able to finish the fight from 2007, but thank you i finally can.

Not many know this, but DooM 3 was Crysis 1 of 2004. Pretty much revolutionized the graphics to the point that it stills holds to this very day, pick any game from pre 2005 and compare it with DooM 3 and you will notice it. Only high-end gpus in 2004 could barely run this game properly that i had to wait 3 years and bought myself an ATI Radeon x1600 pro (which i still have it), those were some great times as it was the same year Halo 2 also launched :")

:I highly recommend this game if you are into games like F.E.A.R 1 and The Darkness I.

This is the game that introduced me to RTS genre in the 90s though it might be nostalgia speaking but i absolutely adore this game. There are total of 30 missions with 15 missions belonging to the red team and 15 missions belonging to the green team and believe me, they are not just copy paste each and every single mission is completely different, so for less than a dollar you are definitely getting your money's worth.

-As for the gameplay, the best way to describe it is every stage is a puzzle you are given very limited credits to produce robots which if gets destroyed you get full refund back to your base (as long as you still have it), every mission's goal is to destroy enemy's base which has three energy levels and sometimes you are even pit against 2 enemy players, critical planning and choosing proper stasis, boosters and robots is the key to victory for every stage. Yes, stages are extremely hard but it requires your gamer brain to complete the missions!

-BUT Some of the missions are really great and fun though as it has another element to the gameplay which are three types of alien boosters randomly placed in some stages which are Alien Weapon Booster, Alien Speed Booster and Alien Defense Booster that completely overhauls your robot and give it godly capabilities like the alien speed booster makes your robot run at light speed leaving after-images (I AM NOT KIDDING) which brings up so many of my favorite missions like there is this one where you only produce one robot and you have to defeat a whole army and a base with JUST SINGLE ROBOT but there is a TWIST to it which is in that stage there's also three alien boosters which you can acquire and after that is basically Jesus himself against the peasents. Mind you every single robot from both team reacts differently to the alien weapon power booster so you have to experiment!

FINAL VERDICT:- I can see that the game hasn't aged well because of graphics (well the game did come out in the 90s) and how difficult each stages are but once you figure out the right strategy and believe me there are at least 10 different ways to complete a mission, a mission can take as long as 1 hour or the same mission with right units and chassis can take just less than 10 minutes and which is where all the fun lies in. To this day i am still finding new ways to complete missions and it is so much entertaining experimenting with all the different robots and chasis and boosters. Buy this game if you want some big brain time!

I waited almost for more than 7 years for the RE2 remake, i was into this whole hype probably years before when the fan project for RE2 remake was abondanded because Capcom wanted to remake the whole game by themselves, so they hired most of the team too behind RE2 fan project.

-Anyway, Loved the gameplay, loved the atmosphere, loved the nods to the original game, but most of all the game is really optimized. I was easily able to the run the game at 900p on high settings on my GTX 960 and i5-2500k @ 3.5ghz for 55-60fps! Can't wait for the whole game and ALSO CAN'T WAIT FOR RESIDENT EVIL 3: nemesis, it would just simply look amazing with the new RE engine. I have high hopes for the era of resident evil games because the last time i truly enjoyed a resident evil game was 5 and that too because of split/screen co-op! Man, those 30 minutes went by way too fast it only felt like less than 5 minutes lol

Underrated gem of 2018, i nomimate this game for the "Game Of The Year" award. Its just mind-boggling as for how much effort must have went into creating beautiful sprites, amazing artwork and breathtaking 8bit - 16bit transition

Fun Trivia:- The developers of the game are huge fans of Ninja Gaiden series on the NES, so much that they even called them to play the demo!

:Now if you can excuse me , i am off to get all the achievements!
