Disappointing update, adds more common items that don't do anything and just clog up the item pull so you're less likely to get the good items. One of which just removes your one shot protection so I'm not sure what gearbox was thinking here. Some nerfs to characters that simply aren't listed anywhere, e.g Acrid isn't able to slam into walls and enemies anymore so you can't slam a wisp out of the sky or get on top of a boss as easily. So far this update has added more bad than good, in my eyes the new chef survivor seems to mostly be a copy and paste from a thunderstore mod that already existed for a good two years now(?) The new maps are the only good thing that came from this, though it gets a bit stale going through the alternate path and seeing the same 4 stages over and over again. The new golden elites are fine in concept, though the fact that they have damage reduction and that bosses can be golden too just results in shooting an annoyingly tanky enemy with little to no damage, even if you're a not a melee character, the boredom will kill you before the boss actually does. This update seems to force you off of Monsoon simply because of the golden elite taking no damage.
