Genuinely one of the best games I have played in a very long time. A+++

This was always my 'background' game, I would come back to it after a 6 month or year break, hit it hard for a while, repeat. But they are now removing one of the very core features of this game - trading. This let me help my friends get a cool car, goal explosion, etc and get them into the game easier. Clearly, Epic saw an opportunity to make money by just.. you know.. forcing the entire playerbase to purchase from their shop now rather than allow the market to exist. Absolutely ruthless business tactics to pull on that FOMO, looking forward to seeing "Boost cap at 150 for 30 days" in the shop next!

I told myself I'd wait until i finally cleared it to leave a review. The concept, level design, physics.. all are great. The game itself would have been hard enough like that, and honestly I love difficult games. What I don't love is unnecessary gimmicks that add a false layer of difficulty to a game.

So why the negative review? The mouse fights you non-stop the entire game. This results in you pushing yourself off the mountain after making a safe move, or even mid jump. It's all for show for a game targeting streamers to make it 'funny'. Honestly, all it is is an unimaginative and cheap gimmick added to make people say 'omg difficult game, spread the word!'. Would not commend to anyone, there are much better games that respect your time and skill that are still incredibly difficult. This is just fake difficulty that I really hope the developer understands made the game go from a cool hard-but-enjoyable game play, to literally the fastest uninstall I've performed after completing. Likely he could care less though, it's a man in a pot and he got money for it.. we were all suckers that bought into the hype and now have to pretend like it was this really neat experience. Just tell it how it is guys.

Stunningly beautiful, an upgrade from the first game and that one blew me away. Movement feels so much better on land, the clunkiness is all gone. Playing on controller on my PC - everything is fluid. It feels great to be back in the water, time to sink another 100+ hours into this unforgiving environment.
