One of the best FPS games, this is how asymmetrical multiplayer shooters are to be done.

Performance is acceptable, however Linux sometimes suffers issues when loading new maps. Netcode holds up well during 60 player rounds and hitregs are good.

I'm convinced someone developed PTSD because of this game, I can still hear the screams myself. Go home GI!

Wrecking game with no structure physics, with speed-run mission timers. Devs sold out, i.e. deluxe edition, ultimate edition and a seasonal pass... lol

All religious stuff aside, the fact is, people who can't kill will always be subject to those who can.

This is basically shovelware that has overpriced DLCs at launch-time, is fun for a few hours and then becomes repetetive and you start noticing the bugs and shortcomings and you slowly start to regret ever purchasing it. And before you know it, the same game is released just with more DLCs.

Every. Single. Time.

12+ years and going in Early Access. Devs are entirely incompetent and mentally ill, mass censorshipping any and all forms of criticism wherever and however they can. Trash UI and Combat.

Do not buy.

Extremely overpriced. Troll-filled and cheating toxic community, don't expect anything from multiplayer unless your friends buy this game aswell (hopefully they have a chance to see this review and don't). The AI is literally brain-dead, so don't expect much from solo either, unless multi-tasking a tedious and inconvenient crafting simulator is what you're looking for. While looking through the reviews, one perfectly summed it all up:

"If you research the games history, you will find that the skull inside the diver once grinned madly instead of being like this.
That's when the old game died and this is the husk of it... you will think it's good at first, but then the bad parts will pile on...

And then you'll want to voice that opinion, maybe, but the forum is full of sycophants and your refund timer is out and you will have wasted your money."

Not even the mods or custom submarines which are a major part of this game manage to save it.

The "new" DLC that they plan on releasing is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and will only add mechanics that should've been in the game during release, now for an additional price as lovely "SCREW YOU!", along with a mediocre at best and rushed & disheveled at worst "new" faction.

absolutely schizophrenic map design, original HL2 mechanics are idiotically altered, no comprehensive lore...

the level of detail varies in each map, it is obvious that the devs put effort into some maps while rushing other ones

it would've passed as an "experimental graphic story", if not for the retailored combat mechanics and HDTF level enemy spamming which demands sv_cheats in some sections

brilliant puzzles, sensational voice-acting, magnificent story, marvelous map design, superb modeling and admirable attention to detail, astonishing mechanics...
