Terrible time. If a game expects the player to replay the same stupid levels and areas over and over and over again, it should at least have platforming that's inherently fun. Instead this has some of the most annoying and boring set of controls of any game I've ever played. Genuinely horrible experience.

Best game of the year easily. I couldn't get into the original but this allowed me to get past its jank and see what everyone has been raving about for the past 20 years.

Edit: STILL the best of the year to this day. Imma play it again :)
