Its pretty clunky in the current state. The tutorial can soft lock at various points, including the gacha lootbox tutorial. You can get around it by restarting until it just works, but even after that once you get into a match the feel and flow of a match feels almost broken. I would give it a bit of time to get out of a beta state before seriously considering this simulator.

Load times are long, crashes are frequent, and bugs are all over the shop.

Do yourself a favor and wait for a sale.

EDIT 10/5: Load times are still atrocious, the game regularly just loads up and ignores kbm and controller inputs. All these issues combined lead to a massive time sink that is just waiting in loading screens for several minutes just to find out you have to relaunch the game. Its a cycle of loading, sitting, waiting, rebooting, loading. 10-20 minutes later you can actually play the game.

Honestly compared to paper this is highly accessible. I do wish some cards weren't URs but you get a pretty decent amount of materials to make decks for free. You really only need to worry about the meta in high ranks and sticking to the platinum tier you see a lot of interesting decks and combos. Highly recommend this as a casual experience because without best of 3 you will tear your hair out and either not being consistent enough because of all the outs you need to run, or getting outted against the deck running outs.

Tl;dr Fun, affordable, accessible.

A great port to PC, swinging around in NYC on an ultrawide is awesome.

Love it! The auto targeting and bombs are my favorite.
