This sequel is very different gameplay wise, but I enjoy the addition of various factions e.g. the Technocrats. Although sometimes these new factions can be very unreasonable.

I feel like they went too heavy handed on difficulty, but serenity mode is a nice addition. I'm not the type of person to shy away from difficulty, but I get how it can be too stressful. Although it would be convenient if they removed or made frostbreaking optional. It just feels like busywork and could've been included in the building process.

As far as aesthetics go the game looks good, but because it's so zoomed out I wish they added more metal and wood colors. Since a lot of the terrain is just white snow. Not a big deal though

This game is great! The performance still needs some polishing, but the recent updates have made it more manageable. There's some bugs with the bike riding and getting stuck in some places, but I think those will get resolved in the near future. I really enjoy playing Stardew and this game has a very similar feeling with the farming, mining, and social aspects. I wish I could play with friends and be my own blacksmith, but I know in the future Rainy Games plans to add multiplayer. Since that was a stretch goal on their Kickstarter. The aesthetic of the game is also my jam, but I get if some people aren't a fan.
