Pretty much exactly what I was expecting. I couldn't care less about the story, and I'm having a ton of fun.

Probably the most fun I've had on PC this year, and this is very much a PC gamer's game.

Running fine on a 7900XTX and 7800X3D rig.

The game is great. This is the most fun I've had with a new game since Elden Ring. I Don't blame Capcom for trying to take the money of people who are willing to buy things that are plentiful and easily acquired in game. Day one performance is not great, but far from unplayable for me.

I'm a bit jaded when it comes to new games because I'm so used to not getting a complete product, having cringe political views pushed in my game time, and being treated like a child with constant, overbearing guidance that destroys any sense of achievement.

Because of this, I usually sail the open seas to play my single player games and I did the same with Elden Ring at first. After playing it for a while, I had no choice but to delete that booty, hop on Steam and buy it here.

Elden Ring is not the soulless cash-grab that I've come to expect from modern AAA devs. I have had more rewarding experiences in the first third of Elden Ring than I have gotten from all other AAA titles combined the last few years. I still have a TON to do in Elden Ring, and given how rare this type of experience has become, I will be taking it in very slowly.

This is my first Souls game and I cant believe I looked past them for so long. From Software has a new fan in me.
