EA basically pulled a with Battlefield 6. A lot of people bought it expecting a normal Battlefield experience, but right after launch they started pushing battle passes, ads, and the REDSEC battle-royale mode everywhere.

It feels like the focus shifted away from the main game that people actually paid for and more towards live-service monetization. Every time you boot the game you’re hit with battle pass prompts and cosmetics, which just makes it feel like a free-to-play game even though it isn’t.

Do not buy this game. Don’t fall for it again.

I bought this game on Steam to launch and play it through Steam. Instead, I'm forced to go through a third-party launcher and make a separate account just to access the game I already paid for.

Ah, PUBG. The game that answers the age-old question: "What if Hunger Games, but with more lag, better graphics, and infinite ways to die?"

PUBG is like a chaotic family reunion where everyone’s trying to kill you, except some of them are invisible, some of them are using shotguns from 100 meters away, and one guy’s just standing on top of a roof pretending to be a bush. And honestly? That’s the magic.

The gameplay is simple: land, loot, run, shoot, die. It’s that last one you’ll do the most, because nothing says “survival of the fittest” like a guy who’s been hiding in a bathroom for 30 minutes only to get shot in the back by someone who clearly has better internet than you.

The mechanics? Oh, they’re a treat. You’ll spend 20 minutes scavenging for an Uzi and a medkit, only to get mowed down by a guy with nothing but a frying pan and a sense of malicious joy. And the car physics? They’re either the most realistic thing ever, or you’ll be inexplicably launched 20 feet into the air and land in a lake for no reason.

The map is vast, but don't get too comfortable—you’ll either be in the safe zone or stuck running from the blue zone while everyone and their grandma tries to take you out. And the blue zone? It’s like that one friend who never lets you leave the party and really wants to see if you can survive a little longer.

But when it works, it works. There’s nothing like that heart-pounding moment when you’re the last one standing. You’ll hear the gunshots, the bombs, the sound of your own heartbeat… and then you’ll probably die to someone who’s camping in a bush.

If you want a realistic, tactical, edge-of-your-seat experience… look elsewhere. But if you enjoy the thrill of dropping in hot, getting a shotgun to the face, and doing it all over again with friends who will laugh at your misfortune—PUBG is your game.

Would recommend to a friend. If that friend enjoys chaos, frustration, and losing the occasional gunfight to a guy hiding under a tree.

10/10 would die again.
