Honestly this game is pretty damn good! Whilst i feel it falls short of the prior 2 AI Somnium games its not a bad thing. Game is shorter then both of them, only one route through the game (well one true route, lots of lil silly side "endings").
The Escape rooms are fun and Mostly make sense but parts are kinda abstract (though this could be due too me being the dumb)
Somniums are back and feel just as good as the prior games
Story fell a bit flat but it sure is a story that makes sense and is very much one you can mirror too real life
All in all the adventures of our wet cat Date was a fun time. Overall though i would wait for a little sale. For some it will be worth the full price (as it was for me) but if your on the fence a sale will be your friend!

Game has a Dedicated Meow button, 10/10 game of the year.

Very comfy. The comfy factor of Stardew with the ability too make the entire town no matter how you want it, want make a nice comfy village? you can! Want too remake a city with claustrophobic-ly close buildings with no room too breath? you can do it! you want too make a pentagram out of the buildings paths and other assorted thing too summon the Snacko gods too vanquish your foes?! well i mean you can... but you scare me.

Items are a bit grindy but you have a LOT too do when waiting on stuff too cook in furnaces so it isnt as bad.

9/10 would reccomend yes yes

Nothing i could put in a review could ever express my love and feeling for this game but i will try.
For a weeks i have been unable too think of anything BUT THIS GAME, trying too play something else? ITS IN MY HEAD! At work doing me job? ITS IN MY HEAD! Trying too sleep? YOU GOT IT! ITS IN MY HEAD!
The Story is written so that there was pretty much no plot points left unused/not finished. The characters are all lovable in there own ways, there own stories and quirks shine multiple times during your runs. The child character of the game (Bonnie) which i thought would get annoying didn't once get on my nerve.
Honestly as much as i want too keep gushing about this game i don't want too accidentally spoil well.... ANYTHING! the blinder the better! THAT'S RIGHT STOP READING THE REVIEW AND GET THE GAME! ITS AN INDIE GAME WITH OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE REVIEWS! YOU KNOW ITS GOING TOO BE AMAZING!

Okay so after 12 hours and beating the first area i feel like i can post a review proper so heres the deal, Is the game good? I mean Yeah its alright but it is NOT A GOOD ATELIER GAME!

TL:DR if you dont wanna read it all, Game guts most of the mechanics that makes atelier atelier, 2 steps forward but then decides too run a marathon back. so far a 6/10 kinda generic open world game

If you want a Its X and Y analogy, It is Genshin and Atelier but they gutted eveyr part that makes atelier atelier.
Alchemy is basically in a corner and doesnt need too be touched at ALL (excluding specific items for quests), you get way too much equipment and items from just opening chests too gear up. You want traits? How about a Crystal that has the traits which have been simplified so much they might as well not exist. Traits being taken out back and i just hope that its changed for the next atelier game.
Combat is Bland and boring button mashing with no real way too use items well, like hell you dont even get a bomb (as of writing) , ya know one of the core basic items of MOST ATELIER GAMES. the best strategy too use is just spam 1 til you run out then 2 then 3 then 4 and back too 1 again and do that until you beat them,

Its not all bad though! well mainly bad but still! Collecting items for alchemy is EASIER THEN EVER, all the tools you need are unlocked at the start (excluding one which is given in the first area), the simple alchemy is nice too have (even if i have never needed too use half the items i can make) and uhhhhh.... i mean the base building is neat.... being able too mass dupe items is cool as well but like, whats the point in all of this is the Alchemy it all revolves around is a husk of its former self..... yeahhhh. New shop system WOOOOO but it is kinda useless too cus again, alchemy is basically not worth using but hey at least you can spend the million high level items you duped on a recipie you will never use or an item you will also never use... yeahhhhh

Also i have had 0 problems with performance so idk what everyone be on about lmao

All in all i guess i will recommend it currently, the game isnt BAD its just a BAD Atelier game that feels dumbed down too the highest degree, i just hope that the next atelier game this year will go back on a fair few things they changed in this game

As someone that cant play rhythm games i love this game, its full of so much life and is just so much fun too play. It has so much content (story mode which includes all the songs, Boss fights, side mini games, there are challenges in the extra menu) and its all just fun as hell too play. Even if you found this game and dont know how you feel about rhythm games i HIGHLY recommend trying the demo first so you can fall in love with it like i did

Amazing game, Highly recomend. Managed too beat all but the last 2 base game climbs ropeless and item less for a bit of fun and love it, Whilst i have yet too beat too beat the final Peak i can 1000% say this game is worth it. The final 2 whilst punishingly hard are still fun climbs (even if i only got about 1500m up on the final one) and the feeling of beating any of the climbs and knowing you are getting better, cant be beat
