This game does what it says on the tin very well. It's just fun to play.

It's a good game.

Know what you're getting into. It's a cheaper, smaller game, an XCOM lite. There's a ton of new things the developers are clearly experimenting with, and some features may not be as polished or fleshed out as they would be if this was a higher priced game. Don't misunderstand. Outside of some bugs (which hopefully they iron out post-release) there's a lot of good content in this game.

For what you pay, this is a top quality tactical game with some strategic elements. If you enjoyed XCOM 1 or 2, there's a fairly good chance you'll enjoy this. And if you've never played those games, this is a good, fun game still.
