Wchodząc, liczyłem na klimatyczny wystrój, może jakieś lampiony, smoki – coś, co przeniesie mnie w azjatyckie klimaty. A co dostałem? Stare kalendarze z 2017 roku, sztućce, które wyglądały, jakby przeszły wojnę i, oczywiście, powitalne „Niestety, nie mamy kaczki.” To pewnie dlatego, że uciekła, widząc, co się dzieje w kuchni.

Zacznijmy od tego, że kiedy zamówiłem "kurczaka w pięciu smakach", nie spodziewałem się, że te smaki będą to: rozczarowanie, smutek, podejrzenie, zagubienie i pytanie: „co ja właśnie zjadłem?” Kurczak wyglądał jakby od dwóch tygodni stał na emeryturze, a jego ostatnim wyzwaniem było zmierzenie się z moimi zębami.

Ryż? Cóż, ryż to chyba tylko z nazwy. Wyglądał bardziej jak ryżowy model do nauki zębodołów, taki rozgotowany i zlepiony, że musiałem się zastanawiać, czy przypadkiem nie zamówiłem ryżowych cegieł na budowę domu. Na pytanie „czy ryż jest świeży?” odpowiedziano mi z pełną powagą: „Dziś był w mikrofali, więc tak, świeży.”
