Even in defeat, we claim **victory**.
Google Product Forums (including this Chrome forum) have been hit by spammers with fake phone support numbers for a while. Google is aware of this but currently has no good solution for it due to certain legacy technical debt. This will be improved when the forums migrate to a new system.
For now, we just flag spammers to our Community Manager so that they can be banned and their posts deleted. Not the best solution, but we are doing what we can right now.
Free Google services do not have email or phone support.
