This game lives rent free in my mind. I think I already found my game of the year. Combat is decently fast and the soundtrack is so much better than Rebirth's OST (which is pretty bad imo). Combat is fun and I do like how cats can inherit skills and passives from their parents, meaning your retired cats aren't complete deadweight. Plus, the art style is great!

Arkane Austin's finest and best masterpiece. If you liked System Shock, Bioshock or immerse sims in general, you owe yourself to play Prey 2017.

Microsoft recently killed Arkane Austin, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog Games and Roundhouse Studios. So please, play the games these studios made while you still can; keep their legacy alive.

Perhaps one of the most promising indie games released this year, even if it has yet to fully release. The game is being actively updated, the managers communicate well, the roadmap is looking solid so far, and the game brings many new challenges to the table.

Overall this is a solid game with a strong foundation and basis. Easily worth the $20 USD even if you dislike Gearbox.
