At 6 hours of play I can say this game is so fun. Hubby and I are having fun exploring and building our base. There seems to be something for every kind of player. Exploring, building, crafting, fighting. The graphics are kind of fun, I only wish they had a dedicated female figure, my lady looks RIPPED. lol!! Get the game, it's fun.

I have completed my mission and it feels as though my soul has left my body. We never did find Albert.

Every step I made through this journey was filled with equal parts of wonder, horror, laughter, incredible sorrow, and a deep appreciation that I am not sure how to fully express.

For the apprentices who follow, remember to take full advantage of your Lumina. The lessons they teach you will be invaluable. And please be weary of many masks, and of golden swords...

(1st Playthrough = 89 hours, 10/10 Game of the Decade)

My husband and I are having so much fun playing this together. If you enjoy Subnautica, this is very similar but a bit elevated, in my opinion.

I absolutely love this game, and that kind of pisses me off.

It's very cute, and I enjoy that aspect of it. However, the controls are so rough that I don't enjoy playing it. At this moment, there is no way to change the keybinds.

Amazing fun and best played with friends.

My 1st playthrough took 12 hours. Maybe that's because of the length of the game, or maybe it's because every time there was a transition the game lagged so bad I would have to hit the Escape button to pause the game, which would lag more until the pause menu would pop up, and then it would lag more, and I would wait until the person on the menu started moving. This was my queue to unpause and hopefully the game would come back without stuttering so bad it would list in my Task manager as "Not Responding". Oh, but it would respond, shortly after, with no sound. So I would repeat the whole pause menu process until I had sound again. This typically took about 1-2 minutes every time, but it was EVERY TRANSITION!

HOWEVER, I kept playing because I really wanted to see the stories conclusion. It was pretty good. There are a lot of holes in the story for single player. I'm not sure if that would be fixed with the 2nd player thing, but I have hope. There were also moments where a character would show up in front of another character completely drenched in blood and no one would acknowledge it. Like, seriously? But, here I am, 12 hours into the game at 3:30am, so obviously I enjoyed it enough to suffer through the weird bugs and stutters. (btw I was running the game on it's lowest settings and keeping an eye on my task manager which never showed any problems. My computer is about 5 years old, but it runs everything else smooth, even Cyberpunk on high settings. Soooooooooo?)

102 hours. Multiple times I would start to play and just could never find the time to finish the game. When I finally was ready to beat the game I found myself stalling. I didn't want to leave. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves adventure and exploration.

I'm obsessed. This game is fantastic. From the story to the puzzles and riddles this game checks all of my favorite boxes for what I like about games.

Also, even going quickly this game is about 8 hours of game play. Not sure what everyone is saying about only 4 hours, might be for the demo. And depending on how you play, the number of days the game goes for can change and yes, there are multiple endings. Enjoy!

Bought this specifically so I could play it with my sister who lives on the other side of the US from me. We haven't been able to play together ever, despite the game saying it's multiplayer. If the game is ever fixed, I might update this review, but for now, I just feel ripped off.

Hilariously, a patch was released right after I left this review that allowed "some" players to get through the world sync blockade. I, for some odd reason, can not host our game. Sync sticks at 1%. My sister is able to host and I can connect to her, and then about every 10-15 minutes I get kicked while doing something. Our ping to US West is around 100, so I'm not expecting a great connection, but lag would be better than getting kicked. After getting kicked I'll go back to join game and enter her code and sometimes nothing happens. Just goes back to the join game screen and won't load. So I closed out the game and rebooted, and the same issue will happen. The only way around it was for her to end her game, close out the game, and re-host. Mind you, I host all of our other multiplayer games, Stardew, Phasmophobia, The Forest, and Green Hell and we have not had an issue other than some lag here and there. At it's current state, I would not recommend this game to anyone looking to play multiplayer. As single player, this game is exactly as advertised, however, as I stated in my original review, I purchased this game so I could play it with my sister because it is advertised as MULTIPLAYER. I will edit this review if these issues are repaired.
