As someone who's obsessed with RTS style games like this, I have to say this one is definitely not the strongest one I've played at all. I made the stupid decision of playing the campaign first for the game. The campaign is horrendous to put it lightly. You'll spend hours on a single mission and accomplish what feels like absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing. The fact a single zombie can snowball and cause your 3 hour run to end in a matter of seconds is stupid and ridiculously tedious and frustrating. They attack the tents and out comes more zombies as they slowly turn your whole village into zombies. Its so annoying especially since the tent buildings have essentially no health and it is very easy to ruin an entire game with just one zombie. Then come to find out if you take a loss in a game you'll lose necessary research points that you need for some of the VERY VITAL UPGRADES. I failed several times on a lot of the harder missions and ended up not getting a ton of research points at all and then couldn't upgrade much which just led to more loses and less research and the cycle continued. And Having something as simple as the gold standard fast forward feature might make some of the tedium less annoying to deal with and missions not feel like I'm pissing my life away. This game would would benefit from it a lot more because unlike a lot of other RTS games I've played this game is ridiculously long, and boring and tedious at several points throughout the missions. But I don't recommend the campaign stick to survival or the other modes they where a lot more fun in comparison to the campaign. I still recommend the game because there is a lot of good things about it but those are just some of the things I hated the most from it.
