Okay, So at this point I am sure I have many more hours in the game than a large majority of the player base. My main having just over 7 days (Level 52 currently) played at this point.
17 years on World of Warcraft at this point, maybe I am just burned out or the game itself isnt where I want it to be anymore.
When I started New World it helped me remember why I loved playing MMOs so much. At least in my experience, so far the community aspect has been GREAT. I have had a freaking blast playing with a bunch of new and some old friends. We get together nightly, in discord, and just mow through PVP quest/RP Events/or just hanging around while we grind. ♥♥♥♥ that most MMOs dont have anymore.
The leveling experience really isnt bad, but requires you to pretty much do everything in the game for EXP.
You CAN one trick anything in the game to grind to max level, but I found a combination of things makes the game more fun. Wrapping up 60 soon.

PVP combat is awesome, I think it plays really well and allows more skilled players to shine.
I will say, so far the wars have been fun, but some what buggy or lag filled.
I think this is expected, but not accepted in a new MMO. I hope Amazon works hard to correct these issues and allows for a smoother "war" experience.
5 Man instances are VERY VERY VERY Good, impressed honestly.

I LOVE the crafting system in the game and am excited to put more time into it.
Gathering is done well. No complaints.

TLDR:
Game is a lot of fun, having and making friends makes it so much better. Playing every aspect of the game will make your leveling experience better. Its an MMO and hope they are working on some bug fixes. Absolutely would recommend.

I would play this over PUBG.
