now they decided to break the entirety of what made their game good, just to add in new paid mods, you're better off pirating it at this point, because that way, at least you won't get boned by bethesda making sudden game-breaking updates without any rhyme or reason

not even some of the mods within their new consolidated workshop+marketplace work and i hope they don't get fixed for this new version, bethesda doesn't deserve your money, boycott the game, and the company, and make your life better in the process

Clearly made with a lot of love behind it, and certainly improves a lot on pain points from the original, but also falters in truly modernising the design of the game, great if you love the original, or, if you don't mind overly large stages and no mouse-aiming, you could give the game a fair go

Terraria is a lovely game. Given that is has several different ways to play it and each world has it's own unique seed. Not only that but it also has a large community of dedicated mod-makers that have helped keep the game alive for as long as it's been with the hundreds of different additions they bring to the game, from new bosses to completely new ways to play the game. If you're looking for an interesting sandbox game, a game that you can simply enjoy with friends, or just want to explore a vast yet limited world, then I can not recommend Terraria enough
