Fought some spectres and now my Tank is a dog. Breaking the curse takes a 20 as the enemy was a bit beyond my realm. Not to worry she still gets hit almost the same as before. She just squeals differently. I guess the trizepserus is the new alpha Tank now.

I prefer this a lot over Baldurs Gate 3. While BG3 is cinematically more imposing that came at a price. That is fun of playing. The encounters you fight in this game are tactically very challenging. It forces you to use scrolls, pots often in a puzzle like way. You check what you have and what you could do and if it could be enough. Meanwhile whatever I pickup in BG3 basically never needs to be used. Every fight is more or less the same.

So if you play cRPGs for the fights, then this game destroys the competition. If you want primarily a story, then this one isn't as good, although I personally still like it.

That said dear devs please use one of the DLCs to rework the crusade mode into something harder and flesh it out some more.

Make it a true crusade. Not just some cards you click and fights that end after a fireball.

Multplayer works fine. Quick matches. Looking forward to the seasons. Not sure what all the hate is about after a good 100 matches or so in multiplayer I can count the problems I encountered on one hand. Good enough for me to start the new ruleset on PC in nice graphics

Re-Updated Review: Le Bonk The Game.

Every single mechanic other than spraying toilets is bugged, scuffed, crappy or a mixture of it all.

TL;DR Arrogance.

It took half a dozen people to convince him, footage and when the patch hit the problem persisted.

Buy this only if you feel like eating an ice, because it is the same. You consume and never look back. You don't maingame an ice. You just eat it.

In this case it is a broken cone, with half melted ice that you get served.

Revised: Negative.

I watched streamers that I thought are about to hit 3-400 hours played to see if the frustration wall that has been known about for a year - give or take - has been addressed.

Streamers that were super positive stopped smiling and were nothing but angry about being hit by bug after bug after bug after bug.

Additionally onboarding to them is not more than a word they like to spam from something that seems to be a bible. You shall increase ONBOARDING -> proceed to make every single harder unfriendlier to use for beginners.

The absolute final nail in the coffin is when you get your #1 fan prons to review negative. No hope

Foxhole is held back mainly by 3 things:

1) It is not a wargame, but a slugfest. If your wish is to run smart operations and strike where the enemy is weak and obvious strategic stuff like that, then that will not be possible due to players being unorganized, being dumb and set in their old ways. Foxhole is largely a game of which side has more grinders

2) The devs have too many maps open for the current population at any given time. This leads to a front to be e.g. 5vs5 for prolonged periods of time. It also leads to your progress being easily wiped since there will be hours with simply no defenders or attackers. This isn't war this is PvE

3) The moderation team is bad. Should you have an issue, then it becomes luck of the draw. Issues can be handled completely different depending on which moderator answers your call.

To give you examples: Currently there is a glitch that allows people to use a certain vehicle and no defense will shoot at them due to a bug. Using this vehicle people will bypass existing defenses and destroy stuff in places they shouldnt. One such guy made his way to the island we were building on several times. The first time we caught and killed him, the second time nobody was there and he basically destroyed the whole island. A mod came and the guy was not punished. Instead I was told that exploiters are important to the game so that they can find more glitches and the game can become better.

As he was mocking in chat and taunting to do it again. Turns out that other mods ban these guys for a few days.

The moderation team also likes to put an emphasis on how they are not paid to do this job. Basically heard this repeadetly from 3 of the moderators I had contact with and as a mod for a different game I can only shake my head at this.

To be blunt after 3 years of moderating I have never told a player that I am not paid to do this. Moderators are obviously not paid, but we do this because we want our favorite games to be better. At any point can we drop that role and give someone else the spot and chance to do good.

If you are wondering if you should buy the game or not: Buy it.

The price is very low for the amount of fun it can deliver to you. Just yesterday I had to stop streaming, because I was exhausted from laughing for 2 hours straight. Frankly that doesn't happen everyday, but if the right people meet in a lobby the amount of fun and confusion will peak through the roof.

Newbies will get scared and run off into the gas, because there is too much spanking going on.
Terrors will not transform, because they feel guilty on the inside.
Weezers will try the longest of cons.

Wasted all the nice things this game has to offer by frustrating players with the reconnect simulator 2015. Slap whoever is responsible to make the free-week before that issue was patched.

Good work down the drain, because something this crucial is demonstrated to the players. Would have bought it otherwise.

The game is very rough around the edges simply because developers were running out of money. Polishing a game isn't for free so it could only be released and polished with the revenue.

That said I recommend the purchase. It isn't massively fun yet due to the rough edges but clearly it captured the Dungeon Keeper spirit perfectly and added innovative ideas to the genre

Purchase, wait a month or two, enjoy.
