The book of Isaiah in the Bible was written around 700 years before the birth of Jesus.

Chapter 7, verse 14 [www.biblegateway.com] of this book reads:
"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Immanuel is Hebrew for "God with us")

Chapter 9, verse 6 [www.biblegateway.com] reads:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace."

Chapter 53, verses 4-6 [www.biblegateway.com] read,
"Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."

It's amazing how the authors of the Old Testament so accurately predicted the arrival, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus!
