Rough. transition into 3D my ♥♥♥. I got this version purely for the mods. The Base vanilla Steam version of the game can be fun, but pales in comparison to the original Dreamcast version.

Funny portal game killed me with a flying radio

The worst parts of this game is needing a microsoft account to play, it attempts to stay online even in single-player, achievements are finicky and cheaters sometimes.
You cannot play without first signing into a microsoft account. It can be finicky supposedly (because when is it not), but I have not personally had any issue with it so far. Tbf you can play offline after you've signed in to a microsoft account. If I had to guess, the game tries to stay connected online for the Xbox achievements (they usually work but can be finicky which is ridiculous). You can easily play offline by launching without anti-cheat (Disables achievements).

If needing a microsoft account to play isn't a deal breaker; the Mcc is a must have for anyone that likes fps games. Halo is and always will be what revolutionized modern fps games and modern multiplayer social features. Not to even mention the custom games. It's only gotten better with the release of Steam Workshop support! Along with the limited time armor unlocks becoming available again, rotating inside the exchange. If you like fps games, you'll love the Master chief collection (when it works).
Do be warned, if you play multiplayer most people online have been playing for years, so they tend to be really good!

I'm pretty sure this is the best fps multiplayer PC can offer. When there's no bots or cheaters that is. You can wear funny little hats too!
