These people chalking up the issues to just pre-release to nullify any negative reviews is incredibly funny. Or to "old hardware" Im sorry, but If I cant get even a consistant 30fps on medium with heavy dlss (essentially rendering at like 360/480p) on a 3070 and 12700k. Game on ssd. Wild. Models and lighting looks like an indie dev racer from like 2008 not 2024. Im sure it might look okay at ultra everything if anything can even run that. Even jacking everything up and just sitting there stationary and slowly jumping around at low fps, the building models and locations are incredibly lifeless and boring. Town feels like a mobile game racer and lacks any character or spirit. But maybe its cuz the further i drove the worse the lag got and id just turn around. Cutscenes where the player character just kinda walks with weird ambiance for a good half a minute, no music, lifeless design around it. Bonkers and terrible experience.

To note I CAN get 45 FPS at night for some reason, but whenever it switches to day time consistant 20-30 with stuttering. I dont understand lmao

Its possible the performance issues are tied to being in the always online servers, but if thats the case, this has happened since every single beta test that was assured to not be in the final release. Im a fool for thinking theyd live up to that expectation, but clearly not. Probably first game to officially refund from me.

In Its current state its a tough sell. Have I come back to the game after 3 years? Yes I have. However, It has gone so far downhill even more than I thought it would since then.

Prime matchmaking was given to every account who purchased the game or who paid 15 dollars which negated any sense of tying your phone number to your account and reducing chances of hackers in that sector. Now you can just get to level 21 for prime which negates the 15 dollar pay wall even further.

Ranks are absolutely broken in Prime matchmaking. Ironically non Prime matchmaking is more reliable of a system, minus the absurd amount of hackers within it. Currently in prime, silver/nova is a mix of new players from non-prime with under 100 hours as well as veterans such as myself who have rank decayed from playing 1 game every 3 months for the last 3 years from various higher ranks. Games in silver and nova will vary wildly between new players on your team getting domed by everyone else or having a high rank decay player similar to yourself match against you and have a 15-15 match with 2 players at 50 kills and the rest at like 8. Trust factor is still a thing in prime and since I get reported a bunch for fragging consistantly 40+ with under 15 deaths in most cases i get put in worse lobbies, I could in theory play on another account, but I really hate the idea of trashing my 7 year old account just because the system is broken, and frankly the even worse grind of trying to break through this is a little fun for me haha.
From the games I have played on my alt in MG with other friends who had not decay'd it is practically the same as silver right now so should you manage to get out, it may not be much different. Unfortunately the ranks are just so broken now, especially if you are soloQing on an account with 350+ wins (like mine previously was at 300 wins at LEM).

My experiences are as follows
Gets kicked for "hacking" because of rank decay in solo Q multiple games in a row so it drops me 3 ranks
Play against a competent player and go 50 v 50 kills with people on your team throwing nades that bounce back and kill themselves because they are so new.
Kicking players that just sit there screaming in spawn not doing anything and then getting 10 minute, then 1 day bans because the amount of people just trolling is suprisingly high and it decides to punish you for kicking too many of them.

Non-Prime
Silver is actually silver with new players. When you are not facing a soft-aim, overwatch avoiding waller, or spinbotter, absolutely everyone is the old silver level you would remember from 2012-2018. If it werent for the cheaters I would say this would be a much better place to actually learn the game instead of playing against people like me stuck down in silver and absolutely ruining your experience.

Somewhat interesting game. Not sure how to play and seems like slow and boring gameplay. Fun to go on with friends typing random stuff for the in-game modulator to speak out to you. From it yelling POO POO! to a string of code that makes it shrill like Miley Cyrus being FusRoDahed from her wrecking ball into an autotune factory. Hey, we all got a little bit of immaturity in us all. Free, so no complaint on content. Good time waster, not sure about gameplay yet.

Honestly not a fun game. Thought it would be like Tf2 but with more customizable guns. Was a lot like those minecraft shooter games for the Iphone. It sucks just like the iphone minecraft FPS games, but has better graphics. If you want this, go with Tf2 instead. If you have TF2 dont get this at all.

Simply Godly. A game that is 100x better than the first. LOVE IT! I wont say anything else because even the slightest hint of gameplay would be a spoiler that i dont want to ruin for you! Go enjoy if you hae never played.

You give a game a couple of hours to play before review, so after 5 i have a good idea of how fun this will be. Very nice shaded Graphics. Great game in general. Too bad i cant play full graphics with my Laptop. No lag in 1200x720 but not full graphics. Overall nice game and will have a better review after 20+ hours of gameplay

Well time that i start cracking out my review for my favorite steam games. This by far over any console is my favorite FPS. Played it a lot even when not on my account. Amazing animation and character design. Not very realistic, but hey who needs realistic when you have a game made by Valve. Anything they make BOOM its amazing. From Tf2 to Portal. 9 Unique and amazing characters to choose from. 100+ guns customizable with track parts. Collectible Hats, LOADS of HATS! Some can get to around 300 bucks! Crazy! You can make in game money by trading and selling. An amazinf Free to Play game. Hey if i could get this on Xbox One i would, or if i would actually buy a 360! Overall amazing and cant get enough. I could rant on for pages and pages about this. But that doesnt all fit in here!
