This game is more fun to discuss and think about than it is to play. I can respect its merits as an artistic piece, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else to actually invest time into outside of research material.

Fun survival-esque game to play when you want something simple, with enough variance and things to do that it's not completely braindead.

Game does not work if you have the slightest accent. Sounds fun though.

Combines ideas from a lot of different games (with a clear heavy Balatro inspiration), but misunderstands what made these ideas fun to begin with, making it lesser than a sum of its parts.

[Note these are first impressions. Maybe the game does this much better later on, but there were enough stumbles in the first few minutes that I felt the game couldn't salvage without completely rewriting itself midway though.]

The idea of combining cards to get more powerful or unique results is very fun, but the game offers you a compendium of all possible combinations right out of the gate, which makes this mechanic lose what's fun about it. Allowing the player to combine items for new results is typically a mechanic that appeals to a sense of discovery, of wondering what miraculous new combos you could do. Of thinking "hmm, I wonder if these two things would go together", and feeling like a genius when they do.

This game does the work for you, which feels like having someone who's already played the game tell you what the best choice is. It's more efficient and helps the me win, sure, but you as a game designer don't want the player to have it easy.

Players claim to be playing games to win, but really they're playing them to struggle. They don't want to go through the inferno, sure, but they're playing the game to face a challenge they can overcome. Giving them QOL tools like this run the risk of removing part of the fun because part of the challenge becomes automated.

The tutorial is... a bit of a mess. It assumes a lot of existing knowledge and introduces new ideas without really elaborating on them. I have no problem with tutorials that are more hands off and let you run into the deep waters yourself, but that's not the tutorial you seem to have intended to make, because it warns you about playing monsters and tells you about the compendum. The tutorial wants to keep you safe, but does it haphazardly.

The UI is fine honestly, but its biggest sin is that the relevant information is *very* far apart from eachother during gameplay. Health is in one corner, the card amount is elsewhere, money is somewhere around here, the keys are on the right... If I want to get a general idea of where I am in the game, I need to dart around every corner of my screen with my eyes. This is fine if each of these mechanics is separated, but things like "how close I am to my win condition" and "how much health I have left" are things that are often referenced. Having these data points closer together (and the closest they could be to the center of the screen) would make it easier to get a quick idea of what's the game state at any given point.

Beyond that there's also typos littered here and there. (It's spelled "permanently", not "permenantly".)

You put a lot of effort into this which I sincerely commend, but I don't think you took the time to think about the mechanics you were introducing and why you were introducing them. You wanted to combine a bunch of fun ideas, but didn't think of how they would interact, and what kind of experience you wanted the player to have.

Sorry mate, can't recommend.

A short, lovely little warioware clone. Fun, creative, worth the money!

Only complaint is that the science lab boss is WAY too difficult.

It's cute, it's cheap, but I think it overstays its welcome. Legitimately think the game would have been a better experience by cutting out the last two ascensions.

It's cute, but there's not much to do here. That's intentional, it's just a simulation with some narration about philosophy and it tries to convey a deeper meaning about the interconnectedness of all things, but I still found it rather dull.

It's an experience that's nice to have, but I don't have much to say about it afterwards.
