Overall I have really enjoyed this game: interesting survival mechanics, complex crafting, excellent art design and great background music. The base game is quite challenging, even late game. There is a DLC available if you want to make the game more casual.

However, at this time, I can't recommend anyone purchase this game. There are still a number of bugs, some of them game-breaking or major enough to make the game more frustrating than fun (Journal goes blank, AI respawn, multiplayer desynch issues, etc.) The game has been in development for over three years, over two in Early Access and over a year since release, but these issues haven't been addressed yet. The dev continues to be relatively responsive to posts in the forums, but updates are very infrequent, with no indication if some of the major bugs will be fixed.

All around great open world ARPG with an enjoyable and humour-filled story. First game of the acclaimed Divinity series, from the developers of the much anticipated Baldur's Gate 3!

Really was looking forward to playing this after having played Baldur's Gate 2 a number of years ago ... but the co-op experience has been very frustrating, to say the least. One bug after another has prevented us from really enjoying the game.

Perhaps after a few more rounds of bug patching I'll be able to post a positive review. So far this feels like an Alpha or at best Beta game.

One of the best games I've ever played. If you like a great storyline, exploration, puzzle-solving, and point-and-click style adventures ... you'll love this game. :)
