Sometimes it feels like Halo...sometimes like Gears of War. It will bring back memories...but won't give you the same feeling those memories did. It's great to create new ones, however. A few of the weapons do the same thing as other weapons basically, and some classic weapons do stuff that will throw you off when compared from Halos of the past. I'll give it 6/10 for a few reasons. Terribly designed armor and weapon customization menu. Terribly designed matchmaking. Terribly designed friend system. Terribly designed battle-pass paywall. And lastly, terribly designed weapons. The positives? The vehicles are fun and function similar to Halos of old. New vehicles are well designed. Maps are pretty fluid for the most part. Actually, the maps are REALLY fluid. Sometimes feels like a choreographed dance. Power items are good. Shields and health feel good. Melee sucks compared to how it used to be. Feels...unimpactful and buggy. This game is fine if you want something like Halo...but with Gears of War mechanics and flow.
