insanity

Decided to edit this review after a bit more playing.

I am currently IN LOVE with this game, I don't care what anyone says, I don't care that the role-playing isn't very deep, I don't care that it runs like ♥♥♥♥. I am having insane fun.
When I first got the game I was very salty about it, because on my $4000 computer it couldn't get over 30fps in the main city, and the roleplaying was nearly completely removed, so I stopped playing and wrote a negative review.
After being bored out of my mind for about a week, I decided to install some mods to lower textures, remove shadows, and just a couple of little tweaks (like making the enemies actually die instead of being complete sponges). I booted it up and started a new save, the game now ran at a solid 60fps, no dropping, this is how it was meant to be played. I was sucked in by the fun shooting and weapon crafting, and I still haven't even touched the settlement stuff yet.

tl;dr: If you ignore the roleplaying and just go into it expecting a shooter, you'll have a blast, but don't expect the game to run amazingly.

I was sucked in by the memes at first, thinking that this would be a bad game, but boy were all of those people wrong. This game is a masterpiece. I've never enjoyed a game as much as this, the story is immersive, the gameplay is top-notch, the graphics are incredible, everything about it is just perfect.

When most people think of perfect games they think of the classics like Call of Duty: Ghosts and The Order 1886, but this is better then both of those combined by far.

If you love yourself enough to not want to end it all on a daily basis, then you should buy this game, I'm not sure why it is so cheap all the time though, I'd happily pay $70 for this experience.

I wanted it ironically but then I liked it unironically.

Really fun game, although I suggest you get a mod to remove that awful yellow filter from the game.

Best game of 2012, by far. You shoot stuff, loot their bodies, and then do it all over again for 100's of hours on end. It is amazing.

So, I got 10 minutes into this game, and I screamed twice, and threw my headset across the room 2 times.
In other words, if you like/love horror games, then get this. Now
