Damn. This game is a blast. Keeps you busy so you're not just going out into the world for no reason. Lots of different weapons and items and crafting and quests. It's fun... i suggest

So I played this game for a bit when it came out. It was good ole fashioned, mindless running around, killing stuff with some base building as well. There were a few little annoying systems here and there but you could just ignore all that and enjoy yourself killing stuff. I redownloaded it, for some more mindless fun, and oh boy is this game a hunk of convoluted trash now. From re-launch to actually doing things, it took about 2 hours of fumbling through the hundreds of systems, and I still had no idea what the hell I was doing. Where I previously started the game, got a weapon, and started running around killing zombies, I was dumped into Palworld, but more confusing and less fun. Don't expect the game to look like it used to, don't expect to be able to just pick it up and play like before, and don't expect excitement... This game is trash now

I played this game a bit when it first came out and I really enjoyed it. It actually got me started playing these style of games. I took a break for a bit and came back to play recently and was grossed out by the changes made to the game. The "tutorial", which used to take about 5 minutes to get through will run you about an hour now. There are so many more time-wasting events, animations, speech, general gameplay that I can no longer recommend this game. Hand-holding is an understatement and had me stop playing before I even finished the tutorial this time around. If they change the game-play back to how it was, stop the obnoxious NPC animations that you're stuck there watching, and cut down text or allow it to be skipped much much faster, I'll be back

This game was super fun, however I have a major complaint, even with the warning ahead of time.... the game becomes impossible past wave 74... My Progress king tower... 34957 dmg per hit at like 1900 hits/second. This should obliterate everything, but when the attack speed hits a certain point, it seems to not actually work anymore. This was literally my only complaint throughout playing. It's pretty fun if you like roguelites.

This is rough to say cause I usually love all MMOs, with almost 1500 hours in FFXIV and the same in WOW, but I can't recommend this game if you really enjoy MMOs like I do. This game kind of reminds me of the play of runescape with the graphics of FFXIV. The movement is terribly uncomfortable a lot of the times, especially when flying and switching quickly between your different morphs.

The combat is abhorrent. The targeting is terrible; a quick example being every single MMO ever made makes you auto target an enemy that attacks you, this game doesn't. Tab in every other MMO usually cycles enemies closest to furthest, with this game seeming to target random enemies around you. Its also terribly boring with the CDs feeling off and most of the time I'm just sitting there letting myself get attacked while just waiting for my cooldowns. I only tried the crossbow, as I usually DPS, and compared to games like FFXIV it just feels very lacking in ambition.

Overall everything just feels strange in this game, like it was made by people who have never played games or don't really care to make it fun, especially if you play normal MMOs on a regular basis. If you're looking for something to waste time on without much attention, this can kill a couple hours for free. But do not spend any money on this game, just spend it on a good MMO.

Amazing Game

Have to say up-front so people who buy based on this understand this completely... the learning curve is vertical and the information available is pretty limited compared to most games so if you can overcome that, you will love this game.

Just finished this game and had to immediately run to Steam to leave one of the only reviews I've ever left. This game is point-blank perfection. The story is incredible, the characters are amazing, and the gameplay takes me directly back to playing old school RPG turn-based games... (side-note... this is how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Final Fantasy 7 remake should have been). There is so much to do besides the story, as you can tell from my first play-through taking 138 hours start to finish and I still left so much undone and undiscovered.

-The game ends at a point, and it feels the same as when you reach the end of a series and you're sad cause you want more.

Cant overstate this... This game is a work of art and it will definitely hold a spot among the greatest and most impactful games I've ever played.
