A solid innovation on the fromsoft action game formula. Its not perfect but lets be honest nothing really is. This is still a solid 10/10 for me. Im expecting to see this as game of the year as much as im rooting for xenoblade 3.

This game is hard, ill make that clear. The main difference between this and earlier titles is the open world gives you way more options. Cant beat a boss? literally go get lost and try to get some new tools for whats ahead.

So I only have 11 hours in this game the time of writing this review and have finished act 1 i believe. So far the story and the gameplay have been super fun! Im really excited to see where both the story and the mythic powers go. If you're a fan of crpg or just long form rps, id say give it a try. I do caution that that pathfinder 1e which the game is based off can be a brutal system but a diverse set of difficulty options helps with that.
