Replayed and fully completed for a second time in preparation for Survivor. Fantastic game and Cal Kestis is my personal favorite Jedi. The story is engaging and you get invested in the characters. The gameplay is souls-like, so if you like that kind of thing like I do then you'll probably have a good time and the exploration feels really good to do and it's fun to jump off walls and swing on vines.
My biggest criticisms only really popped up when finishing off the last few collectibles. It can be quite difficult to find some of the hidden secrets to the point of irritating and traversing areas you've already been to to find them can be quite tedious, especially on Kashyyyk where you have to make a giant loop around the entire tree to grab anything you missed the first go around, a run that can take 10 minutes just for a single BD-1 scan or chest. My suggestion would be to add post-game quality of life features, like some sort of indication on the map to help find those trickier secrets and fast travel. My God, fast travel would make a ridiculous change in how much I enjoyed 100%-ing this game, even as a feature only available in post-game. Additionally, as with pretty much any game, the more you play it the more jank you'll start to find. Throughout the main story, you'll only really experience minor graphical bugs like Cal's poncho phasing through his body, but I really started to notice some issues with textures once I spent hours scouring every corner of every planet for items.
It should be noted that most of my issues with the game are really nit-picky, and only really apply to a completionist. Regardless, this is an incredible game and it amazes me that EA was able to successfully produce a quality single-player Star Wars game. Oh, yeah, and EA Play sucks, but you kinda just gotta deal with it. If nothing else, the fact that I made the choice to 100% this massive game for a second time should tell you everything you need to know about it.
