Maybe the game is good but I've spent more time trying to get the game running at the correct resolution than I have actually playing. Will only let you select resolutions from your "first" monitor rather than whatever display you're actually playing on. Avoid if you have multiple monitors until the issue is resolved.

So glad that content we paid for got removed from the game because the developers unilaterally decided for us that we aren’t mature enough to make our own decisions regarding disturbing content.

Update: Developer still refuses to return removed content. Would refund if I could. Never purchasing from this developer again.

Great game, garbage port (game logic tied to frame rate, no Vsync, massive performance issues especially with Xinput controllers). Typical Square Enix.

Fantastic game with a deep combat system and a tremendous amount of content! Very happy to finally be able to play it again, though still somewhat annoyed it took almost a month for the developers to fix the game-breaking crashes.

Story and art direction are fantastic. Top notch soundtrack. Combat is satisfying with a variety of difficulty adjustments to suit personal taste. Being a roguelike type game there's a lot of potential for replayability. Always been a big fan of Supergiant's games but Hades is most certainly their crowning jewel.

Oddly enough, it's more playable than 2 and 3. Has a minor graphical glitch on modern AMD CPU's in some areas, which can be fixed with the "FPS counter and Post Processing effects" mod from nexusmods. Holds up surprisingly well for it's age, though the gunplay is still pretty terrible

Broken. Origin overlay causes random sub-30 fps dips even on top of the line hardware. Origin overlay will not respect users preferences and stays active even if set to disabled. This has been a known issue for nearly 3 months. It is unlikely EA will fix.[www.overclock3d.net] Don't waste your money. As if bringing an 8 year old game to steam for $40 wasn't ridiculous enough, to sell it in this broken state is absurd and unacceptable.

The story and game itself are great, but I can't recommend buying it in it's current form. Tons of bugs, crashes, soft locks, and getting the DLC installed and working requires jumping through about 30 different hoops
